16-hours of adult-class room instruction by some of the best professional anglers to be found anywhere in the Northeast. It will be the first seminar series of its kind, focusing on striped bass only from beginning to end. Topics to be covered: live eel fishing, soft plastics, plugs, trolling, live bait fishing, kayak fishing, fly fishing, surf fishing, and more. You will learn something from everyone of our presenters at this event. Where, when, how and why. A life time of fishing knowledge in one weekend.
Our raffle and proceeds will go to benifit RI Kids Special Olympics to suppor their yearly programs.
There will be charter trips given away, lots of brand new fishing tackle and gear, everyone will get a tackle package for signing up. It promisses to be one of the best events of the winter.
The cost is only $89 per angler for the entire weekend. That breaks down to about $4.35 per hour of instruction. One of the best values to be found anywhere. We will have vendors there to show you and answer your questions about new gear and how to use it effectively. A live pool demonstration on how to properly fish soft plastics so you can actually see how they are supposed to work and be fished. We will be launching our White Ghost Tec Academy as of January 1st 2009. This is an educational program, designed for adults, to learn how to fish better and more effectively.
Boating School: You can come on our boat or we will go to your boat and teach you what you need to know about catching more fish and being more productive. This covers how to use your electronics, boating skills, preparing and rigging tackle, lure and bait selection and more. The focus in on education and not on fishing as there is just too much to learn. We ran this coarse in 2007 and it was received with overwhelming support so we decided to bring it back and offer it once again. If you are new to boating, or just aren't having the success you think you should be then you should consider our Boating Coarse.
Semianrs: Througout the winter we will be holding educational semianrs at Wood Boat and Motor in Apponaug, RI and Ocean State Tackle in Coventry, RI. These seminars cover all types of subject matter that is of interest to all anglers. Rigging soft plastics, tying striped bass rigs, how to keep and hold your bait, tips on fluke fishing, sea bass fishing, scup fishing, striper fishing, bluefish fishing, and much more. Times of semianrs will be found on this site below the "Fish Forum". There is a small registration fee for attending of only $15.00. The reviews and opinions of those who've already attended have been one hundred percent favorable. Many have said its the best seminar they've ever attended.
Speaking Engagements: We are available for club speaking engagements throughout the winter months and early spring time up to the first of May. Subject matter is vast. Topics include fly fishing, light tackle fishing, bait fishing, how to rig plastics and lures, and even an exotic trip to Cuba with stuning photography.
