White Ghost Fishing Charters is now accepting bookings for the 2012 fishing season in Rhode Island. Our season begins the beginning of May for big striped bass inside Narragansett Bay, RI. First run fish are usually in the schoolie size range and range throughout the bay. From the middle of May through June the big fish move in to feed on river herring and menhaden that come in to the bay for the spring. Fishing includes: Casting big soft plastics to crusing fish in shallow water, catching and fishing live bait for the big girls, and fly fishing for those who are willing to test their skills against this great predator. The springtime inside Narragansett Bay also includes blackfish, (tautog) who move in to spawn in shallow water areas and later in the month and early June, bluefish, which provide some of the best top water action that you will ever experience on light tackle or fly rods. We provide all the necessary gear, tackle, and bait, all you have to do is book your trip and show up at the dock.
