Hi folks. I'm a newbie here. Found my way over from SB.com. Thought I'd try my luck at the big fish up in the bay this year after speaking with eelman at the SB show in fairhaven.(Hi Bill!) I've had great luck fishing the south shore in the boat from Matunuck to Weekapaug over the last ten years, but I'm looking to change it up this year. Hope I can share some info, fishing reports, and gain some knowledge from a bunch of excellent fishermen. Lotsa familiar names here. I'm sure I've met a few of you! Anybody heading out in the bay tomorrow? I'll be at Wickford at daybreak. Hopefully I'll be able to find some bait! Any suggestions on where to look? Found plenty out by Quonset last weekend, but I'm not sure I'll be as lucky this week.

The tube and worm works pretty well and so does the umbrella rig but the pogys are the best and they could be anywhere-Check the hurricane barrier in providence first-after that they could be anywhere.

Piemma- Where have you been fishing? I've only been in the bay three times so far but bait hasn't been a problem at all.

If I can pry him from his weekday trips to the canal, I imagine he might be able to enlighten me some.. How are things up in the bay this week? I heard things are picking up, but haven't talked to anyone up there in a week or so. Heading down to SoCo this afternoon for some early evening eeling. Had a nice night there last week that included a 36 lb'er and I'm hoping to follow it up this week.
