Ocean State Tackle is offering live eel's to anyone who is fishing at night for striped bass up until 10pm at the Providence store. All you need to do is call Dave 401-226-6626 and let him know. He lives upstairs above the shop and can give you the eels you need that night. This is a great convience for those who fish at night or during the early morning hours and need to get an early start. The shop has plenty of eels in both locations, Providence and West Greenwich/Coventry. We also have custom tied eel rigs for fishing live eels at the shops as well for both surf and boat fishing. The Shallow Water Striper University is moving along big time. We already have a number of people signed up for this special event for next March, which, in and of itself is amazing this far out. We will be offering gift certificates for this event for the holiday season this year. It would make a great gift for any angler (man or women), and they will learn more in one weekend than they ever thought possible. This type format has never been done before to our knowledge where the focus is strictly on striped bass, finding them and catching them more effectively.
